The most easiest way to samba running on SuSE 9.0, is to use the Sernet packages. Sernet provides recent Samba packages for older SuSE distro's (back to 8.2). Check out: ftp://ftp.sernet.de/pub/samba/ An other possebility is to try to rebuild the samba packages based on the specfile creation tools at ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/projects/samba/ SuSE 9.0 is close to SLES9. This will not be easy and requires to use the old way "SuSE" buildsystem. The SLES 9 specfile needs to be adapted to fit SuSE 9.0 Success, John -- To unsubscribe from this list go to the following URL and read the instructions: https://lists.samba.org/mailman/options/samba
