I tried the Sambar server several times and all pictures did load completely. I have experienced a slow load or no load of certain gif's or jpg's on my own system. I don't use PHP just HTML pages and was stymied by the fact that certain jpg's would not load even though there was nothing wrong with them. I had the webpage in \docs and the jpg's also. I found that by simply moving the jpg's into the \docs\index_files\ directory, that those jpg's which were refusing to load were now OK and did load. I don't know if this will help you but it was a relief when I finally found a way to solve this wild problem on my own system.
