I recently had a similar experience with newsgroups. I could see them fine
with Outlook express, but not with Netscape messenger. It was the proxy
settings in Netscape. I never set them, but they somehow got set to a machine
on a network that I do not even know where it is. Nothing to do with Sambar
in my case, but the symptoms are similar. Try checking the internet settings
in control panel and pay attention to proxy settings.
