Fellow Users,

This is VERY Off Topic and if you have any ideas or think you can help
then contact me off list.

I have a group of users that are visually impaired. Some use screen
readers and some do not. Those who do not are the ones that I need to
help. Of these who some use Netscape and some use Internet Explorer.
Again its those who are using Netscape that I need to help.

I built all my pages with styles that set backgrounds black and text
yellow. This has worked great as its very easy on the eyes for those of
us who are visually impaired. Because I use some forms I set a style for
<input>, <Select>, and <Summit> tags to background=black and
text=yellow.

This works very fine in Internet Explorer but those using Netscape do
not all see it the same way. In fact I have tested it on my four
machines all running Netscape 4.79 with the same settings on all four
machines and get the same results.

The problem I am trying to resolve is this. I want the background of the
<input>, <select> and <summit> to show up as black and the text in them
to be yellow.

When a persons settings are:
Windows(XP,98,98SE, or Me) Appearance Properties set to Standard Windows

Netscape 4.7x
Netscape Preferences
Appearance . Font = Use Document Fonts including Dynamic Fonts
Appearance . Colors = Use Windows Colors
Advanced . Enable Style Sheets = Checked

and they access the form the <input>, <select>, and <Summit> have a
white background and unsure of the text color because it can not be
seen.

So is there a way to code a page in order to get what I want when being
accessed as above?

Please any thoughts or ideas will be greatly appreciated.
