Definitely perl path.
This happens with ActivePerl, when you don't have a win32 mapping for .pl
setup, than try to run a perl script without putting perl in front of it,
like 'script.pl' i.s.o. 'perl script.pl'.
The ActivePerl/MS Installer than pops up and screws up your entire registry
and paths.
Only thing to do, is major registry hacking or just reinstall ActivePerl.
