Searching particular files overruling/eliminating certain directories. I noticed in my build of indexes within sambar a conflict between include and exclude in indexing.
In the config.ini I have taken .htm .html etc. etc. within paragraph [search] in the line Index Only...... In setting up an index I excluded particular directories, so not to be included in the particular index, so also to exclude the .htm files in those particular directories. However when building up the index, I still do see that the .htm files from the dierectories I wanted to exclude are taken into the index. So is it right to conclude that inclusion of specific .dotted files overrules the exclusion of directories from the index build ???? I would have liked to see no files included in the index from directories I excluded. Am I wrong, is is the conclusion right, and would another ruling not be better ?
