Hi all,

maybe I'm thinking too complicated.... but I've been running in an
situation, that suffers me:

a) Sambar running with several virtual hosts and using dyndns at one
machine in my network.
b) Getting mail via Netscape-client from another host of the same
network, but using "http://dynname.dyndns.org";

Problem:
Even if all POP-logging is disabled, I get for each contacting my
mailbox(es) at Sambar an logentry with the internal (!) name of the
asking host (four entries a minute, because the client shall check each
mailbox every minute)

What I'l like to get (and what I'm awaiting) : asking for email-accounts
on Sambar from within the network shouldn't blow up the logfiile for
external access, even if the mailclient is using "pop.external.adress"
when fetching mail. Must be possible, because the shown and unwanted
entry is always the internal name of the accessing client.
All logging of POP is switched off..... ?!

What I'm missing?!

Thanks in advance

Michael
