I don't think so.
Problem is: if they put a <img
src="www.spamershome.anywhere\image.jpg?idnummer"> into the html source,
and you look at that message, you will automaticly validate that this mail
adress is working *and* read.
So you catch one problem but all the others remain.
I suggest a more sophisticated mail reader: strip all html code
automaticly. Everything. This is the only way to be sure that there is no
evil code inside.
