Hmm, Here's the message I got.

Check that out..............need an ASP server for the website.
Any help you can give me is most appreciated.

Seems XO Communications is the current host and is going out of bussiness.
Or at least filing bankrupsy. It was originally made with M$ Access. You
could prolly answer this really easy. I'll ask it like this. Will be be a
pain to mess with or just a few minutes? :)

Subject: [sambar] host asp database? {02}

Hello Rodney,

Well, there's no such thing as an "ASP database".

To host ASP pages you need to install one of the third party ASP
interpreters.

To host a database you need the database server software (often just
the ODBC driver is enough) for that particular database.

I host Oracle, Sybase, MySQL, MS Access and Visual FoxPro databases on
my Sambar server. I do not use Microsoft's ASP though, they are
accessed via PHP and Sambar scripting.
