One of the reasons I brought it up with Tod is how I saw it being used on another web server that supports multiple ports. By being able to use multiple ports, you add another level of security by keeping certain things out of the public's eye. For example:

http://www.lembke.com:5537/ <- development web site
http://admin.lembke.com:7734/ <- Sambar admin pages
http://mail.lembke.com/ <- normal webmail site
http://mail.lembke.com:3045/ <- private webmail site

I have *zero* demand for it. It was just an idea to toy around with... you know, its rainy here. We have two days of constant rain, very unusual. These two days gave the rain we normally have in two month. And I'm starting to be depressed by the constant dribble.
