Thank you for your replies.

I am not sure when WebFolders came into play with Sambar, but I just upgraded to the new Server 5.2 beta 4 and noticed that the WebFolders item was there.  I haven't ever noticed it before really.  I like the online version, because when you login to the desktop, it automatically takes you to your 'home' directory and you can't go above that.

I did some more tests, and found out that if the IP address of the server is typed in, then everyone can see the full contents of the web directory.  However, if you just only use the domain name used, then they only have access to that directory, and only the user that owns that directory can make any changes.

Then you will need to follow the second suggestion and disable WebDAV on your end.  I'm not sure what version of Sambar you are using, but WebDAV has been part of every Sambar build since 5.0 (5.0 betas & production, 5.1 betas & production, and 5.2 betas) and possibly since 4.4 (I don't have a 4.4 server installed to verify this, but I could in about three minutes if need be).

To read more about Sambar, WebDAV, WebFolders, Internet Explorer, and security, read the Sambar documentation.

The whole issue is the fact that the Sambar Server allows people to log in using webfolders, so I cannot go to my client's computers and uninstall that.

What I need is to find a way to disable the WebFolders feature from the Sambar Server itself.  Past releases did not have this WebFolders feature, and, I do not want to revert back to an older version unless I have to.  But, I feel this poses a security threat since all of my clients can log in using WebFolders interface, and gain complete control to anyone else's webspace.
