If you are running any flavour of NT, go to the system32\drivers\etc
directory under your operating system dir and edit the file HOSTS
Add this line to it...
127.0.0.1 test.test.com
save the file.
Now open NETWORKS and add this line..
test.test.com 127.0.0.1
save the file.
That should do it. You can enter whatever you wish for the domain name (I
used test.test.com in the above examples).
If you have Win9x, the two files are in the root operating system directory
(usually \windows). Win9x typically does not have the files, but does have
HOSTS.SAM and NETWORKS.SAM that you can edit and rename if you wish to see
the format.

OK - sure - How do I do that ?
(its 3:30 a.m. here - better go to bed ) - i'll look for that tomorow..
Sounds like what I need - A way to have 2 'domains' on my system to
test/try out the script..
I think I've isolated the part of the script that is causing an error (one
subdomain works fine, the other sub doesnt work - (strange ?)
I guess i'll fix the problem tomorow - However the above bogus domain
sounds like a good thing to know..
Goodnight
