hi.. I dunno whats going on.. Some times its scanning mails, some time its
dosent :-()
I cant find a free mailservice on the net where i can send the eicon test
virus from.. But i tried to send from this www.ofir.dk with the test virus
in, and it was recieved on my mailbox in sambar...
Can any on send this test virus to me and mail with out the virus, so i can
see what happend...

I haven't had that experience at all.
But I was getting some .txt files in my scan/active folder and also
getting a lot of files in my mail/mbox/failure folder. Those in the
active folder seemed to be parts of messages and not complete ones. The
failures seemed to be mis-formated email.
I made the following changes and have not seen files appear in either
folder again. I removed all email aliases that I had pointed to null
(example bunny = null). And in the spam settings I had it reject not
move to spam folder and also unchecked the (Test HELO/EHLO domain for
valid MX record.
The only spam checking I'm currently doing are
Check mail against mail/mbox/spam.flt REGEX rules
Check mail against mail/mbox/whitelist.flt REGEX rules
All seems to be working fine.
I do have a question on is there a way or setting that can be make so
that I don't see a command box open and close during virus scan?
