I have a user who is using Eudora for their email client. I have their mailbox account set to username@domainname. I do not have Auth enabled. They can receive their mail ok but can not send. If they set in Eudora to Auth on send we get an CRAM-MD5 SMTP authentication Error. If they turn Auth off we get an not local account can not relay error.
I just saw on sambarserver.info Steffen's post on the latest beta and that Tod had: Changes: - JavaEngine upgraded to Jasper 4.1.12 - Fixed bug in CRAM-MD5 SMTP authentication - Fixed bug with evaluation of floating point numbers - Fixed JavaEngine bugs associated with processing Default Pages (JSP) - Fixed bug in PHP CGI processing and added support for REDIRECT_STATUS - Fixed bug in mail server Relay Domains that failed when authentication enabled Will the two changes I see here relating to the mail server fix my users problems or is there something else I should be doing or looking for.
