Okay guys/gals I have the first semi big problem
that I can not solve. So please help, if you can ASAP. TIA
This problem had been going on over several sambar
versions, currently 5.2p.
We are a corp with about one hundred email users.
Some are in-house some are on the road. Some use webmail, some use outlook, and
some use outlook express.
We have one user, of course it would be a Vice
President, that uses Outlook to send and receive their email. Outlook is set to
delete the email from the server. But this poor guys 10M folder keeps getting
filled.
We then go into webmail and delete 500+ emails and
log out. Upon re-entry, the messages are still there.
My tech would shut down sambar then restart, go
into webmail, delete them and log out. This does work. Except this last time.

We have deleted the email account (folder in
windows was removed) and re-made the account and we get the same
thing.
I seem to remember something like this a long time
ago, but found nothing in the archives. If I remember correctly, the resolve was
to create an account with a different id. While this most likely would work, it
does not 'solve' the problem.
This is live so I can not play too much. And I have
put him off as long as I can doing our internal tests.
