I found out, the hard way, that if you have enabled Sambar dbms functionality, and 
then turn trace ON for an ODBC system data sources, the performance of the Sambar 
Server will all of a sudden begin to degrade.  The ODBC trace log file ended up being 
quite large.  Luckily, I also had the Sambar network I/O performance turned ON (trace 
performance=true).  At one point in the day, the Network I/O Performance log page 
began showing over 600 Kbytes read or write over several consecutive hours.  I 
attribute this to the point at which the ODBC trace log file exceeded 5 megs.

I had ODBC trace turned ON because I was trying to monitor why I was getting an ODBC 
error message "system resources exceeded".  I am still waiting to see this error 
message pop up again.
