Yes, when fully functional, I believe that you or your users will substitute the 
symbol * in place of the @ symbol. The server which you are calling into must be able 
to handle this or some such protocol. Netscape's browser has a similiar problem with 
vhost names and others as well. Check with the tech support for that other server to 
see what their workaround is for ws-ftp and others.
