I'm not absolutely positive but I think if you map to a network drive on the other machine and then set the default doc directory to it via a vhost or and alias that may work. I remember doing something like that when I had a web cam setup on a different computer... That was a long time ago and I don't remember what I ended up doing. I did get it to work eventually.
