Hello sambar, I've got a problem using the Sambar FTP proxy.
My Sambar server is ver 5.1, and is set to port 21. I'm trying to connect to another ftp server on the internet. If I use my Sambar server machine, then I can connect fine (since I'm not using the Sambar proxy). When I try and use a desktop on my LAN, it won't connect. Desktop #1 is using Directory Opus. It's set up to "Connect via FTP Proxy", proxy type "USER [EMAIL PROTECTED]", with the proxy address being the IP on our LAN of the Sambar server, port 21. Every time I try and connect I get this in my log: ------------------- Opening Proxy 192.168.204.1:21 -> the-crawfords.com:21 220-Sambar FTP Server Version 5.1 220 Your FTP Session will expire after 300 seconds of inactivity. -->USER [EMAIL PROTECTED] 331 Password required for [EMAIL PROTECTED] -->PASS ... 530 Login incorrect. -------------------- Desktop #2 is using WS_FTP. I set up a "firewall" setting in WS_FTP: Hostname 192.168.204.1 User ID and user PW are blank, as Sambar allows anyone on our internal network to pass through. Type: I've tried every one of the internal, and gotten the best results with a script (it passes [EMAIL PROTECTED]). Every time I try and connect, it connects and logs in correctly, but then I get this: ----------------------- TYPE A 200 Type set to A.
