The problem is the force ip bind unfortunately. If I see your configuration right, you have a private network to Computer to Internet.
--> H --> C --> R --> private net | public net use your H -> C connection as your gateway and your C -> R connection for your proxy address. If you were to unbind the ip, you could use the H -> C connection for the proxy address. You can use the internet sharing feature to automatically assign your gateway & address. But use your connection properties on the Win2k to lock down those NICs for more security. Play around with it. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Ranni" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Newsgroups: sambarzone.list To: "sambar List Member" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, 19 June, 2003 10:53 Subject: [sambar] Internet Sharing and the Http Proxy Config > Hi..I have a small network with a direct connection to the internet. > The server has two nic cards one connected to the router and the > other connected to the HUB.
