Here's an interesting problem, one I can live with but a still problem: I have 6 database caches set up for guestbooks and the like. All work well and everything functions well using the MSAccess driver. Here's the beef....I am running XP pro. When I run ntserver.exe to convert Sambar to a service all is well too. The only problem is that two of the DB caches fail to initialize on Sambar restart as seen in the Sambar system log. If you try to use them as intended, i.e. guestbook, the web page displays everything with a scripting error in the DB output fields. Funny, because all other DB caches work fine. I checked the settings on the XP control panel and each setup is identical except for the DB file location. The cache settings in Sambar are all identical as well except for the caches names. When I stop the Sambar service and reload Sambar as a regular program, all DB caches work fine again.
Has anyone run across this little annoyance?? I would like to run Sambar as a service so I can log off the computer. Steve Varvaro ------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe please go to http://www.sambar.ch/list/
