I still use 5.3p and my menu structure is

> 
> \sambar_cfg\... --> all ini files !! running Sambar as a service
!!
> \sambar_srv\... --> Sambars install dir
> \sambar_mail\... --> all mail data  !! set path in config.ini !!
> \sambar_log\...   --> all logfiles !! set path in config.ini !!
> \sambar_vhost\...  --> subdir for each vhost  !! set path in
vhost.ini !!
> \sambar_messages\... --> messages  !! path in config.ini !!
> \sambar_temp\...   --> !! set path in config.ini !!
> \sambar_cgibin\... -->  !! set path in config.ini !!
> \sambar_cgiwin\... -->  !! set path in config.ini !!
> \sambar_document\... --> /docs/  !! just first page with some
scripts and css !!
> \sambar_system\... --> servers main web page !! lot of subdirs
set paths in mappings.ini !! 
> \sambar_sysuser\... --> webmail and a lot php script for
registered user  !! set path in config.ini !!
> \sambar_sysimage\... -->  !! set path in config.ini !!
> \sambar_search\... -->  !! set path in config.ini !!
> \scan\... --> Sonias av scanner WORKS GREAT HERE !!!
> 
and so on...! 
This structure has a great advantage: if I update SS I only install SS
to \sambar_srv\... ! All costumized message files, webmail, docmgr
remain unaffected. Just delete non used folders (mail, logs,
messages, cgi-bin .... ) in the install dir.

Hope it works also in v6?!
