It needs to be higher than 0 or you loose a good deal of caching. Are
you also using the expire option in your .htaccess files?

If a file is modified (i.e. during development), the server will indicate that the file has not been modified for the duration of the Stat Interval. For this reason, this feature should only be used on production systems where the underlying files change rarely. In addition, the interval should never not be set above 300 (5 minutes). |
