A while back I attempted an upgrade from 4.4 to 5.2 and had a problem with Sambar just quitting so I went back to 4.4. The old machine runs NT 4. I just built a new machine and am running XP-Pro and installed Sambar 6. I am having the same problem. However, I think that I've narrowed it down to one PERL script.
Can a PERL script that runs fine under Sambar 4.4 cause Sambar 5.2 and 6 to crash? The script is nothing special. It reads a text file and uses the data to fill out a web page.
