Sorry Danny, I didn't receive your reply, just sig (see below). In my investigation on this, I have found that some users are using a "middle man" email app - such as Poptray, or ICQ/IM apps set to check email. These apps have the ability to delete and respond to email. My thought is the problem may be with these apps.
Also looking at the pop3/smtp logs, recreating the accounts that were active before the problem, but sometimes hard to tell since I am not in front of the machine when it happens. Also plan to recreate some of the more active accounts to see if that helps, but as of now still no concrete resolution. Only problem with running sambar as a service is that I still have the registration/restart problem. (have to manually remove the reg info from config.ini, restart server, enter reg info from web based admin, restart server again. I did get a new reg from James, didn't help unfortunately). Any way I could run it as a service (with the above issue) that you can think of? Thanks again. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Danny Mallory" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "sambar List Member" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Saturday, June 19, 2004 1:31 PM Subject: [sambar] Mail server woes > Danny > > > On 19/Jun/2004 04:44:08, Peter wrote: > > Your problem sounds more like you have a messed up email client or a email > > that is corrupt.
