Unless you're specifically looking for Perl with it's source code, NETBIOS
and Server Message Block scanners can be found all over the 'Net.

Examples:

http://www.rawlogic.com/netbrute/
http://www.sans.org/infosecFAQ/threats/file_shares.htm

This will list machine names, users, groups, shares, hidden shares, mac
addresses, et. al.
