Thank You Everybody for the help.

I am now able to test my perl scripts offline, and with errors shown, after
altering the config file under http section to d:/perl/bin/perl.exe , this
being the location of the ActivePerl in my system.

Without any other alteration except the config file mentioned above, I noted
that Sambar disregard the first line shebang #! and most probably treat the
shebang as a comment #. Is this the way Sambar works? Have I missed
anything? or maybe this is the way ActivePerl works.

As opposed to some members suggesting changing the location of the first
line, I've noted that the first line is commented out and the following
undermentioned first lines will execute the perl script without any errors
whatsoever and makes no differences. :-

#
#!
#anything rubbish / rubbish ////#@$! still work
#!d:/rubbish////

Thanks.
