Hello, When I use samtools 0.1.19 multithreaded sort
samtools sort -@ 3 -m 5000M I expect the process to use between 15-20Gb (I don't know if it's 3 worker threads plus a main thread or not...) But often the process climbs up to 30Gbm which is almost twice what's expected! Any ideas why? Have others have had this issue?
