I prototyped modifying the InMemoryBeanMgr to use the 'backport'
ConcurrentHashMap a number of weeks back which should help with the contention
problem we're hitting... I've attached a rough patch from then to show how
simple it is, though you'll have to re-do the work because I'm sure the
InMemoryBeanMgr has moved on since then.
