As I understand it, that code has never been changed over the last years. Most probably these features have never worked. I tried going back as far as I could, and the issues remained. That is not bitrot. It is possible that a different chip worked fine, and that it was assumed that this code would also work for other Genesys Logic chips. The only way forward is getting a data sheet. J.
