The only Brother devices that are listed on the SANE Project's website
come from *external* backends, nothing that the SANE Project is
involved
in. Suggest you try Brother's driver download site. You might find a
*non-free* backend there. Afraid we won't be able to help you with
any
issues you run into, though.
Go to brother's website, enter your model, then scoll down and click on
"support". You should see a link to Linux and from there to download
the
driver package. That's what I found when I searched a random
all-in-one. They also have User Guides for their Linux scan
application.
