[sane-devel] HP-Officejet 4630

Reporting back on my "sane-airscan" findings for the HP-Officejet 4630. Brian, your suggestion to install the sane-airscan package did in fact work. I noticed a link on the sane-airscan GitHub page here: ----> https://github.com/alexpevzner/sane-airscan containing a listing of known AirPrint supported devices here: ----> https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201311
 
I chose to install just download the: ----> sane-airscan_0.9.16+53.1_amd64.deb <---- package and not add a repository and then install manually.
 
Now when I open the XSane application an AirScan entry is shown for the OfficeJet. I also have noticed that a scanning application named (simple-scan) does work after attempting to scan twice the first attempt does not work at all.

install sane-airscan to have an additional and alternative SANE backend:

You probably want an Ubuntu 18.04 package. If it has been downloaded
to your Downloads directory, it may be installed with

 cd Downloads
 sudo apt install ./DOWNLOADED_FILE_NAME
