Nomen est omen. Perhaps KISS was misunderstood as "keep it stupidly simple"? ;-)
In Russian language there is a proverb, "simplicity is worse than robbery".I think, I'll enforce 2500ms pause between subsequent sane_start() retries -- don't want to receive complains like "device hangs or reboots with simple-scan"
