ppa:sane-project/sane-release gave me libsane 1.0.31, but it does not seem to
have the corresponding libsane-dev on offer. Actually, all I need is sane.h and
saneopts.h, so it might be simplese if you just sent me those two files.
I have now downloaded the source of xsane (as supplied with focal) and and am
now in the midst of 'configure'.
