I would like to apologize. I had had a difficult day and had some beverages. I went to update my computer and ran into this dependency issue.
 
I would like to start over if I may.
 
I am using LinuxMint 20 and fully updated.
 
I would definitly appreciate your help if at all possible. I did go to the page Ralph suggested. ----> https://launchpad.net/~sane-project/+archive/ubuntu/sane-release?field.series_filter=focal
 
I procedded to enter the following command into terminal and hit enter.
 
~$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:sane-project/sane-release
