Hi!

1. You need to name your backend as libsane-cruz.so.1 and put it to the directory where other libsane-XXX.so.1 files are installed (it depends on your distro)

2. Add the string cruz to the /etc/sane.d/dll.conf, or create a file named /etc/sane.d/dll.d/cruz with the string cruz inside it. It will instruct libsane-dll.so to load your backend

I have create a new backend for scanner as usb device for our company. It named as czur

When I check the libsane.so.1 on my linux system which is used by simple-scan, it is linked to libsane.so.1.0.27

But as http://www.sane-project.org/lj98/doc005.html#f6 say,  I should relink the libsane.so.1 to libsane-dll.so

Is this correct?

If I do not relink the libsane.so.1, how it word with my new backend
