Hi, I found this site via Gutenprint, which I’ve used many times over the 
years, helping clients with printer compatibility issues. 

But now I’m having a scanner communication error I haven’t seen before, and I 
wasn’t sure if this is the right place to be for a solution. 

The scanner is on your supported list. I just don’t understand exactly how this 
is supposed to work. Can anyone help?
