So 22.04 (Jammy) should have the latest released drivers for SANE backends: 1.1.1. Could you verify that for us with "scanimage -V"? Could you also verify that the backends' pixma driver is being used to do the scan? Let us see the output of "scanimage -L". If you believe that the scanned image that you are seeing is incorrect, perhaps send a test image to the list (or to me personally if you find that isn't working). Cheers, Ralph
