Hi,
sane-airscan 0.99.32 is now available.
It adds a configurable option into the /etc/sane.d/airscan.conf that
forces sane-airscan to report all discovered devices as "local", not
"network".

The option is contributed by Markus Gutschke (gutschke at github).
The original description follows:

Configure whether eSCL and WSD devices should be treated as if
they were attached locally. The default behavior considers them as
remote devices that are accessed over the network. This option has
to be changed when exporting a scanner through "saned".
