One way to move forward if you want help from others, is to create an issue
here: https://gitlab.com/sane-project/backends/-/issues
... and attach a USB capture trace. It would also provide a permanent
record for others to take it on at a later time if you do not take it
further.

Or you could send one to me directly and I could take a quick look to see
if I recognise it.
