Hi,

The current list of supported platforms for sane can be found here:

http://www.meier-geinitz.de/sane/tmp/sane-support.html

This list will replace http://www.mostang.com/sane/sane-support.html
once SANE 1.0.7 is released.

Please check if your platform is listed and if it is tested with SANE
1.0.7. If it isn't listed (or only tested with older versions of sane)
please test the latest CVS snapshots:
http://www.meier-geinitz.de/sane/tmp/sane-backends-1.0.7-cvs.tar.gz and
http://www.meier-geinitz.de/sane/tmp/sane-frontends-1.0.7-cvs.tar.gz .
Please report if you could compile both without errors, if shared
libraries and dynamic loading is supported, if SCSI and/or USB
scanners work and if you could compile the X frontends.

I'm especially interested in results of Linux on non-x86 platforms (e.g.
Alpha) as we have little data on these.

Is the entry for OS/2 correct also for SANE 1.0.7?

Bye,
  Henning
