-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello:
Just following up to find out if anybody has determined whether or not the N1240U is supported as a 1220U. I am going to be purchasing a scanner in the next few weeks and the model I am interested is the Canon Smart Style CanoScan N1240U. My second choice is a Colorio GT-7200U but it's not listed as a supported scanner either. :~( The price for these models are very attractive, but I don't want to buy a scanner if it will be useless under Linux. By the way, FWIW I sent an inquiry to scanner_...@cms.canon.com.sg, asking them if/when Linux support would be coming for their products. Not that I expect much good to come out of it. Thanks in advance.
