hi,
on which device file generally HP 2400 scanner maps? i check /dev directory
on my linux machine and found no single usb device listed there. so does
that mean i have to create any /dev/usb/scanner or /dev/usbscanner0 device
file manually to work scanimage -L on HP 2400 scanner?
sane-find-scanner is working fine.

Thanks & regards,
Parag.

On my side imagemagick's "display" can show those files just fine.
I suspect your lpr implementation it not able to cope with 16bit tiff
files directly.

I just added the id to libsane.usermap so this shouldn't happen
anymore once the package has propagated to the distributions.

Bye,
