hahah- oh sorry, no. there is no reason for all the various makers of 
equipment to get together and develop a common interface. the consumers 
want cheap and long lists of useless features, those two things are the 
enemy of robustness and interoperability.

unless you know for a fact that your unit is a rebadged model from some 
other maker, or is compatible with existing ricoh scanners, you might be 
making your own backend. cracking it open and looking at the chips might 
help...
