I wish to combine a bumber of scan-outputs in one pdf-file. In the past I was able to do so with the following command: /usr/bin/gs -q -sPAPERSIZE=a4 -dNOPAUSE -dBATCH -sDEVICE=pdfwrite \ -sOutputFile=output.pdf input1.pdf input2.pdf
However, today I tried this (for the first time with xsane from opensuse 11.1) and received a lot of errormessages: **** Warning: File has an invalid xref entry: 4. Rebuilding xref table. **** This file had errors that were repaired or ignored.^M **** The file was produced by: ^M **** >>>> XSane 0.995 <<<<^M **** Please notify the author of the software that produced this^M **** file that it does not conform to Adobe's published PDF^M **** specification.^M ^M Error: /undefined in ????^M Operand stack:^M ^M Execution stack:^M %interp_exit .runexec2 --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- 2 %stopped_push --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- false 1 %stopped_push 1921 1 3 %oparray_pop 1920 1 3 %oparray_pop 1904 1 3 %oparray_pop 1787 1 3 %oparray_pop --nostringval-- %errorexec_pop .runexec2 --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- 2 %stopped_push --nostringval--^M Dictionary stack:^M --dict:1168/3371(ro)(G)-- --dict:1/20(G)-- --dict:70/200(L)--^M Anything renewed in XSane 0.995 that may have caused these errors?
