could you add SANE_DEBUG_GENESYS_LOW and SANE_DEBUG_GENESYS_GL124 to ad extra traces to the log ? If you have a chance to run your scanner under windows could you record a log with http://www.pcausa.com/Utilities/UsbSnoop/ ? The test session I need is launching photostudio 5.5 -> acquire menu -> preferences -> calibrate . With both logs, I'd be able to fix the support. I think it must not be that far from working.
