Hi Rajib, Your scanner belongs to the pixma backend!
If you want to compile only the Pixma backend, you need to use this command: $ ./configure BACKENDS="pixma" You don't need to set an option for PRELOADABLE_BACKENDS for compiling Sane in Linux. Please ask the mailing list again for detailed information about this option. Hope this helps.
