It was great fun conducting the activity in Tikri Village. There were around 40 kids of classes 1st to 5th. In the beggining of the session when we asked them ''what is paryavaran?'' they said ''bandar,billi''etc.. :) :) Then we gradually explained them about environment and its importance through videos and discussions.
Then there was our Taare Zameen Pe type drawing competition and the kids were left with their imagination to take wings and convert it into beautiful drawings. They drawings they created weren't perfect but they were very special because they conveyed the msg that they have understood the concept of environment. Some of the paintings were very good and inspiring. The volunteers as well as the kids had great fun. I will upload the pics of the event in 2-3 days.
