As you all are aware of the fact that on 25th December, Sanskaari is going to complete its second year since its beginning of work on grounds. In these last two years, we saw good times and bad times........ we shared happiness and sorrows also................ We became friends............ We did hard work........ Many people came and go.............. Few of our members shifted to other places for continuing their post graduations or jobs and they started a new branch of Sanskaari over there and started working for the cause of country and Society like Mitesh in Nagpur and Chaitanya in Gurgoan. Few of members started working in their own cities with just online contacts like Kunal in Chandigarh who is still continuing over there. Although Astha started but she could not make group so with just two girls she did not continue the work. In these two years, We slowly and slowly now working for 5 projects- u all know: Sanskaari Paathshala Red Ribbon Club Young Leaders Mission Green Team Sahyog But some how either there is lack of funds or lack of volunteers, Sanskaari is not able to run its projects smoothly. What ever we did, we are proud of us, coz what we did in these two years, other organisations dont do even in 10yrs with lot of funds. Recently, I came to know about Manch organisation in Tagore Garden, which is 15yrs old organisation getting lots of funds from Govt, but what they do, they gave check of Rs XXXX to an employee to show in records, but take Rs 2000/- cash back from their employess. I am proud of myself that I am member of Sanskaari which is not categorised in those NGO list. and I hope you all will be. Now time has come to decide- where we want Sanskaari to be in coming future????????? Do we want such a genuine organisation to get closed in near future coz of shortage of funds and volunteers? or Do we want Sanskaari to be so big not like other NGOs who are working since so many years but still country's condition is becoming more and more pathetic, but an NGO who will bring the dramatic positive changes in Society and coming future. I hope you all will go for 2nd reply. So, what steps should we take to make it more and more big???????????? Lets share and implement those steps. Few of my suggestions and ideas are as follows: 1. Before we go for improving others, lets bring change in ourselves. a. Commitment- We all should be commited first and fulfill our own commitment to our best level. We should obey our own words. Lets commit with ur ownself to donate minimum 3hrs a week out of 168 hours in a week for cause of Society and country. b. Responsibility- We all should be responsible towards our work- Whatever work we take charge of, we should take responsibility of finishing our work. In any case, if any one feels he/she wont be able to carry out their work, he/she should allot his whole responsibilty to some other responsible person of the organisation with work done till that time along with that talent or art etc. Responsibilities towards systems and procedures- We all should update activity details on google group within 3 days of activity. We all should submit our membership fees without delay before 15th of every month. We all should submit expense details of last month by 15th of current month. c. Innovation: Lets innovate new and new ideas for fund raising and volunteers collection and implement them. Well my suggestions can be boring but those who know their purpose of being in Sanskaari would like these and I hope would follow these. Well one of our member, Vivek Sharma who is manager of Silent Killers Band has given us this new ways of fund raising by organising charity shows in Malls and Restaurant etc. So attached here is letter for taking permission for charity shows for fund raising, go for it guys and gals and lets make Sanskaari stand on its own feet.
