I recall reading a translation of Ramayana in which there was a list of big numbers, exponential numbers like umpty-wumpty-willi-woosh-nanillion. I have not been able to find it. If I search the Koln MW for "high number", I get a good list, but none are defined, and all are referred to the same Buddhist source. I have googled a Korean source, but as soon as I connect it locks me out; and anywise, the site is in Korean. Got any ideas? jd santosha paramo laabhah sat-sangah paramaa gatih | vicaarah paramam jnaanam shamo hi paramam sukham || Contentment is the highest gain, Good Company the highest course, Enquiry the highest wisdom, and Peace the highest enjoyment. --------------------------------- Make free worldwide PC-to-PC calls. I found a hymn to sanskrit language called "saMskRtastotram", wich starts with: saMskRtastotraM ahaM vadAmi saMskRtaM sadA surairabhASitam| rAmakathA bhASitaM kRSNakathAvarNitam||1|| and wich ends with: saMskRtaM bhajAmahe saMskRtaM vadAmahe| saMskRte ramAmahe kadApi na tyajAma vai||18|| Who knows an origin/source of this stotraM? And "one" more request, not long ago I become interested in Rgveda, so I was delighted with hymn X, 129 - nAsadIya sUkta - "Creation Hymn"! If anybody know any interesting hymns from Rgveda or any (in your opinion), please, send me information about your favorites! By the way, if anybody know where I can download Rgveda in MP3 or any audio format, please, inform me too! With gratitude and kindest regards from Russia. ? ?????????, ?????? ?????? ?????? ??: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ___________________________________________ ...?? ?? ??????? ???????????? ?????, ???? ???? ?? ??????? ? ????? ?????, ???? ?? ?? ?????????? ? ?????? ? ?????? ?? ???????? ???? ??????... -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... "asidhaara vratam" is related to brahmacharya (in terms of total control of senses). The vratam has to do with - even when spending a night on the same bed with a beautiful woman, the brahmachari should be neither physically disturbed nor mentally disturbed. May be that's the sharp-edged sword:-) "Devarakonda, Satya (IT)" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: Hi, Can somebody tell me what is Asidhara Vratham. Atleast what does Asidhara mean?
